PGM: Conan #1 (1st Nicholas Cage in comics)

Afraid I may have over paid for this considering it came via Craigslist.

This one CL seller alone could fill a book on what not to do.

Anyway, take a look at let me know what you think. Also, is there any significance to the "R" stamp?

If you click on the images you can go to Photobucket and enlarge to the original size.

Thanks!

Wow; a lot of responses. Thanks!

Wasn't sure about the "R", but that along with the date stamp I thought are pretty cool.

Weird thing about this CL exchange (well, one of the weird things) is the seller kept beating me up about my price on this comic and completely ignored my prices on the other comics (about 10 in total).

He accepted my prices on those without question, though insisted on looking up on the internet the price for this one (and did that wrong, of course).

Fair bit of abrasion on three of those corners, along with other colour breaking wear. I think this one needs to be angled to a light source -- as there might be more going on (wrinkling on the front / long dust shadow?/bend on the back).

Given the photos, I don't think it unfair to start at 6.5. I don't believe that I would go higher. (shrug)
