PGM Amazing Spider-Man #50

I've always had difficulty properly grading comics with sub creases.....especially those that break color like this one. It could be pressed to flatten the crease out but that's about all pressing would do to help this book. It's a nice sharp copy except for that darned sub crease. Everything's complete and everything is solidly attached.

 

This is a book I've been planning to send to CGC for grading but I have someone local looking to buy a copy for their husband for Christmas. Just want to make sure it's probably graded if I do end up offering it to them. Thanks!

I was originally thinking 5.0-5.5 so I actually wasn't too far off with the consensus thus far.

Without the sub crease, it would be 6.0.

4.0 to 4.5 too many color breaking spine ceases in addition to vertical creases in the middle. Still could be a subscription crease even if its not exactly straight.

4.5. The sub crease is there and not going anywhere. Nice copy otherwise

I sold this book to a local guy who submitted it for CGC grading. I sold it as a FN- 5.5. It came back a CGC 5.5.

A bit of a gift grade. IMHO

 

4.0 maybe a 4.5 on a good day would be the grade I would give it.

I was thinking maybe a 5.0 because the crease is so obtrusive on that particular cover. Congrats !!
