Share Spock stories....

Spock was one of my early heroes. Wrath of Kahn was the shiznit when I was a kid. We always walked around doing the Vulcan hand gesture "Live long and prosper."

Damn. Very sad when a hero dies.

I told this story in the water cooler, but I`ll post here.

I met him in the late 1980s when he did a con in Boston.

Of all the celebs/guests I met at cons I would say he would be the number one class act.

What stood out to me was that at this con was his father had just died, and the promoters gave him the option of missing the con. He told us he thought about it for awhile, but he didn`t want to disappoint the fans of Boston.

He was very emotional with tears about his father.

I will never forget how human he showed he was.

Class Act all the way!

All I need to know about life I learned from STAR TREK

Seek out new life and new civilizations.

Non-interference is the Prime Directive.

Keep your phaser set on stun.

Humans are highly illogical.

There's no such thing as a Vulcan death grip.

Live long and prosper.

Having is not so pleasing a thing as wanting; it is not logical but it is often true.

Infinite diversity in infinite combinations (IDIC).

Tribbles hate Klingons (and Klingons hate Tribbles).

Enemies are often invisible - like Romulans, they can be cloaked.

Don't put all your ranking officers in one shuttlecraft.

When your logic fails, trust a hunch.

Insufficient data does not compute.

If it can't be fixed, just ask Scotty.

Even in our own world, sometimes we are aliens.

When going out into the Universe, remember, "Boldly go where no man has gone before!"
