Doktor
Yes! Misty Knight To Appear In Neflix's Luke Cage http://comicbook.com/2015/09/02/exclusive-misty-knight-to-appear-in-neflixs-luke-cage/ So...What does the collecting community actually recognize as her first appearance? Marvel Team Up #1 or Marvel Premiere #20? My recent hoarding of Marvel Premiere 20 makes me hope for that book, since I don't have any copies of Marvel Team Up

Bosco685
Simone Missick Cast As Misty Knight In Netflix's Luke Cage Actress Simone Missick (Ray Donovan) has been cast as Mercedes "Misty" Knight, a woman with a strong sense of justice. Based on our sources, Knight will appear on the show as a police detective that reluctantly teams-up with Luke Cage. In the comics, Misty Knight was a decorated New York police officer whose life dramatically changed when her right arm was seriously injured during a bomb attack. Her act of bravery did not go unnoticed as Tony Stark supplied Misty with a bionic arm. However, the NYPD wanted to assign Misty to a desk-job so she resigned instead. At this point, her best buddy Colleen Wing talked Misty into starting a private investigation firm together, Nightwing Restorations. She then encounters Heroes For Hire, a superhero partnership consisting of Luke Cage/Power Man and Danny Rand/Iron Fist, who would eventually become the love of her life. Bosco685
Luke Cage Netflix Series Casts Mahershala Ali as Cottonmouth Marvel has now officially announced that Mahershala Ali has joined the Luke Cage cast as Cornell “Cottonmouth” Stokes. The character, as he is described in Marvel’s press release report, is a “Harlem nightclub owner, [who] will become an unexpected foe in Luke’s life when Stokes’ criminal activities threaten Luke’s world.” It’s unclear at this point if the series’ version of Cottonmouth will possess the same superhuman strength and razor-sharp teeth as his comic book counterpart, though Marvel TV Head Jeph Loeb has indicated that he will at least figuratively (if not also literally), with his statement on the news: “Mahershala is an actor of extraordinary range and gravitas. As Cottonmouth he will really let loose. Luke Cage won’t know what hit him.”

Bosco685
GOTHAM And RAY DONOVAN's Frank Whaley Joins Marvel's LUKE CAGE In Key Role According to Deadline, Frank Whaley has joined the cast of Marvel and Netflix's Luke Cage as Detective Scarfe, a character described only as a hard-nosed detective in the series. However, he has a storied history in the comic books, serving as a close ally to characters like Luke, Iron Fist, and Misty Knight. Scarfe took a surprising villainous turn during the events of Shadowland, so it could be that he's either an ally or enemy to the man known as Power Man. bb8
Yeah, it'll be interesting to see how they treat some of the blatant blaxploitation of the source material. Which direction will they take it?

TheLiamSturgess
It can't have been that hard. If it was taken, they could have reasonable legal ground to demand it from the owner, or simply purchase it.

If it was taken, they could have reasonable legal ground to demand it from the owner, or simply purchase it. They contacted Nic Cage and asked if he would please release the account. He asked for a simple trade.
