Yes, people are generally pudgier, women have smaller boobs, and guys have far less muscle than in a comic book.

 

Still, there only body type is fatter and flabbier. People have beauty marks, freckles, various heights, and other things. Doesn't that show their own single-mindedness. I don't think their 'realistic' body types were unattractive either.

The Cap one is particularly good. Yes, someone who's been made into a super soldier, the absolute peak of possible human perfection and performance would sport love handles and breadstick arms.

I just looked at the pictures. It told all I needed to see. The title should substitute "real" for "average" bodies. There are people that workout and take care of themselves.
