I'm 47. I dealt heavily in the 80's and amassed at that time a decent collection of mostly modern but a good many SA/BA also. In my inventory I never had more than 2 GA books at any time, and I resisted doing anything with them realizing I knew nothing about them so more likely than not I'd get burnt. Got back into the hobby as a small volume ebay seller around 2001. Two years ago I decided to learn about GA and collect them. I'm hooked and care little for anything but GA now. Would sell off all of my SA to buy GA if it were not for the nostalgia (remembering how I got a certain book, etc.).

 

Wish I had gotten the GA bug back in my 20's.

51 here and still can't get enough of the funny books!!! Have been a collector and fanboy since the early Sixties! Bought my first Golden Age books with the money I made as an Air Force Airman in the mid 1970's, I only made $311 a month, and I saved enough to buy a restored Superman #1! In those days you could get alot more for your money!
