This is why you should be cautious about GPA, they don't have Comiclink data!

That book sold for that price!

Just one record price after another on that site!

Really nice to see a very under valued book get some respect!

My favorite Superman cover of the silver age!

i actually prefer to put these side by side (well, it's the thought that counts) and show why GPA isn't the end all either when selling books. these sold w/in days of each other.

pretty sure that Supes 144 CGC 9.2 was Kapelka's. Either he consigned it, or someone bought it from him and put it on Josh's site. There's allegedly about three superman collectors fighting for these books...

Kapelka's original sticker I believe was $900 on that book.

Kapelka as in "take-a-number-Feeding-Frenzy" Kapelka??

Yes.

I figured the books on comiclink were from Dave so thanks, FK, for confirming.

Note that someone probably bought them from him -- not sure that Dave consigned himself... they are significantly marked up from his price list that he showed me.

A couple of nice-looking Bob Hope 10¢ books.

Adventures of Bob Hope 46 Sep-57

Probably Owen Fitzgerald pencils and inks.

Adventures of Bob Hope 64 Sep-60

Probably Bob Oksner pencils and inks. Looks like an Oksner girl.

More Bob and Jerry ahead!

One 10¢ Silver Age Jerry. Take a look at the Golden Age forum for a couple of earlier Dean & Jerrys.

Adventures of Jerry Lewis 61 Dec-60

I'm pretty sure this is a Bob Oksner cover, but this is around the time Owen Fitzgerald left and Oksner took over.

Not a bad cover gag.

Editor was asleep at the wheel -- what's that #$%^& apostrophe doing in "her's"?

I was pretty certain of that based on what I saw at the show. You picked up some very pretty copies. (thumbs u

Just there briefly on Saturday. I saw you at Robert's booth but you were very focused on 10 cent DCs. ;)

Very happy to get this dime book.

The Brave and the Bold 33 Jan-61 3rd Cave Carson!

Just ignore the scribbling in the logo, OK?

Only 10 issues away from a run from #29 to the end, although #31 is coverless.

Too much competition for #1-28. It'll take some real luck for me to own any of those.
