Silver
This is why you should be cautious about GPA, they don't have Comiclink data! http://www.comiclink.com/itemdetail.asp?back=%2FNewItems%2Easp%3Fid%3D%26FROM%3D4%252F20%252F2008%26TO%3D4%252F21%252F2008%26x%3D0%26y%3D0&id=747412 That book sold for that price! Just one record price after another on that site! Really nice to see a very under valued book get some respect! My favorite Superman cover of the silver age! Aman619
those are incredibly strong prices asked... and paid! I was thinking of starting a thread to question the ask prices... and then they sold just as quickly.
Foolkiller
pretty sure that Supes 144 CGC 9.2 was Kapelka's. Either he consigned it, or someone bought it from him and put it on Josh's site. There's allegedly about three superman collectors fighting for these books... Kapelka's original sticker I believe was $900 on that book.
Foolkiller
Actually, as I look at a number of those, they seem to have been purchased from kapelka. Glad whoever bought them left the Flash 123 for me... !

adamstrange
Kapelka as in "take-a-number-Feeding-Frenzy" Kapelka?? Yes. I figured the books on comiclink were from Dave so thanks, FK, for confirming.

selegue
A couple of nice-looking Bob Hope 10¢ books. Adventures of Bob Hope 46 Sep-57 Probably Owen Fitzgerald pencils and inks. Adventures of Bob Hope 64 Sep-60 Probably Bob Oksner pencils and inks. Looks like an Oksner girl. More Bob and Jerry ahead! Jack
selegue
One 10¢ Silver Age Jerry. Take a look at the Golden Age forum for a couple of earlier Dean & Jerrys. Adventures of Jerry Lewis 61 Dec-60 I'm pretty sure this is a Bob Oksner cover, but this is around the time Owen Fitzgerald left and Oksner took over. Not a bad cover gag. Editor was asleep at the wheel -- what's that #$%^& apostrophe doing in "her's"? Jack

selegue
Here's a nice dime book from my board buy -- Mystery in Space 54 Sep-59 2nd Adam Strange in MiS. The chipping doesn't bother me much for the price. Jack
selegue
Very happy to get this dime book. The Brave and the Bold 33 Jan-61 3rd Cave Carson! Just ignore the scribbling in the logo, OK? Only 10 issues away from a run from #29 to the end, although #31 is coverless. Too much competition for #1-28. It'll take some real luck for me to own any of those.
