Cover the childrens eyes, there's a slave Leia in the toy aisle!

Has that dad not seen Return of the Jedi? He seemed oblivious as to why she would look like that.

And for the love of whatever holy deity you worship, if you find it inappropriate, then don't buy it. If you don't want your kids to see stuff like that, then keep them out of the toy aisle from now on.

In fact, might as well keep them away from the Internet and any other form of news and media while you're at it.

And especially this message board!

Nobody wants to explain anything to their kids...

And finally, here are 27 pictures of Carrie Fisher shooting the film in said outfit. For reference and educational purposes.

if the bible was filmed as a movie in the way it was written it would be given a hard 'R" by the MPAA.

... and it would be banned in China.

I'd say NC-17 with a healthy dose of PTSD.

The only thing inappropriate in that news video is the perverted thoughts that are going through the father as he stares at the toy doll. If you remember at all being a child you'll remember that you showered with your siblings and never felt shame being naked in front of them or your parents. As children you dress and undress your toy dolls. You watch as your parents changed the diapers on you younger siblings and sometimes even helped change them.

Nudity is not a shameful thing, the shameful thing is the dirty ideas that adults get.

At least she is proportioned correctly for a woman and is portraying a heroic female character.

Ask the father if he is outraged by the incorrect physical proportions on a barbie doll and the problems with "self image" that Barbie can cause to young girls as they enter puberty.

These stories are just Blah blah blah. News people have nothing to report on so let's go fishing for stories.

People feel like they're Queen fora Day if they get outraged over something.
