No known restoration. I also wouldn't mind your opinon on grade pre and post pressing. There are a few defects that I feel can be pressed out.

Pressing isn't going to do anything to the tears, which themselves are the grade-determining step.

Thanks for the input everyone. The book is off to be graded and I'll make sure to post the results here.

Looking at the picture that shows the interior of the back cover it looks like it has 2 spine splits on it. Those spine splits are going to kill the grade of this copy. I don't think it will grade higher than a 3.0 because of the spine splits + the tear on the back cover + all of the other wear that's on the front and back cover.

Nice book. I'm going to say 3.5 before the press.

Afterwards it may be a 4.0 to 4.5 or a 3.0

because the the cover looks like it is ready to pop loose

from the upper staple (the spine split looks like it

goes at least partially through the staple). If the

stress from the press pops the staple I say 3.0

if not 4.0 to 4.5.

maybe 4.5 with a press

 

I'm it was a 5.0 w/out press... nice pick up
