Long Cox Bomics?

In all seriousness tho? The Spinner Rack wouldn't be a bad name.

Why get serious all of the sudden...isn't it Friday!?

The perfect name for most comic shops these days.....

Sad but unfortunately true

Chapter X Comics

You get to pick the chapter later: 7, 11 or 13.

Actually I hear from both sides of the border stores closing....its unfortunate but true.

The people that last the longest in the biz are people who run the store like a business not a hipster hang out place.

Toronto's rental space is quite expensive like most large cities which is death for most comic shops.

That is why so many have gone the way of the web to sell their books :blahblah:

Don't do Bergen Street comics, as they are closing. Uhg. I liked that place even though they started limiting purchases to one copy of an issue (even if there were multiple covers). I guess that didn't work out well for them.

They're keeping the publishing arm alive though..they published Michael Fife's Copra.

Is it a pure comic shop or will you sell other stuff?

the reason i ask is i think there is a segment of the population who will never willingly walk inside a store with the name "comics" in it, and may persuade their boyfriends/husbands/children from doing so, but might wander into a place they think has other sorts of things in it.

Here is one i have thought about, and you can have it as I won't be opening a comic shop in my lifetime...

Pop Art Galleries (or Collectibles or Collections some word with a broad appeal)

Of course, that's an obscure reference to that brief period when Marvel used "Pop Art Productions" in their covers that most people don't remember, but that always stuck in my head looking at those comics when I was a kid.
