Byrne FF #269 cover goes for $9,560. You won't find a cheaper one!

Per square inch of main character image it's like a six figure piece.

Would have loved that Kurtzman...sigh

Great cover. I thought it would have gone higher. I guess there is no love for the EC war covers.

That seemed like some love right there

Different from things like Frontline Combat where there are many less covers

Journey into Mystery #122 - $155,350.00

Great team of Kirby and Wood. Anyone surprised on the results?

that is 17.2% growth from 2003 sale

That seems like a notable lag behind lower level Kirby pages, most of which have at least doubled since 2003, no?

I should have been clearer. That is compounded annually. To me that is low considering transaction fees and inflation.

If you drop that to hammer (since the seller's not getting the entire BP as well) it's still a respectable, roughly, 13% annualized.

It sold for 23k in 2003...he annualized the return, but at full selling price.

I've got it at 14.77% CAGR if you adjust the 2003 sale for inflation, still a nice return for a 12 year hold.
