Ok. I couldn't help myself.  Just ordered these.  I like the Crime and Punishment covers, and they appear relatively undervalued compared to other crime runs.  Had to get a Crime does not pay at the end as well. My first Crime books!!

A lot of crime books (probably like any genre if you read enough of them), get a little formulaic. Like horror books, a lot has to do with the title and publisher. I find the Fox, DS (Exposed and Gangsters Can’t Win), Story (Fight Against Crime) and Crime Does Not Pay, to be the most “salacious”. There are others as well. Crime as always taken a back seat to other genres but I have always enjoyed them. For the most part, pretty affordable as well.

Started in Jan 1952 and ran to about April/May '53.  They didn't end at the same time across titles, iirc.
