Heritage Auction November 2015....Some truly nice SA comics up for sale!!

As far as the Action Comics #252 goes....been so rare in this CGC 9.2 grade (only 3 ever graded in 9.2 and none higher) and with all the current hype about Super Girl I will venture and say the book sells between 30 000$ to 35 000$.

 

I wish I had the funds I would for sure go after it but after buying my AF15 this week I am out for sure till some time in 2016 (TOS 39 will be my goal for 2016 and maybe a cgc 6.0 Action Comics #252 as well).

 

Whoever wins this CGC 9.2 Action Comics #252 will do very well with it financially over the next 5 to 10 years (or even better if kept for longer than that).

There have been private offers of 27k for OW 9.0 copies that have been turned down, so if you got this for 30 then you would be crazy lucky

 

Of the other two 9.2 copies out there, one for sure is not for sale, the other probably is not. So...if you want a highest graded action 252...it's this one or hope another gets graded that you can get.

 

I'll be interesting to see where it goes....

AV4 9.6 won't break 25k. There are 21 copies in 9.6. 5 years from now, when 20% of the 32 copies in 9.4 are pressed up, along with new copies to market that will surely come along it'll be a 15k book. A long ways from the 91k it sold for on ComicLink.

Didn't one on Pedigree close for 16k almost a year ago? Heritage with their add ons may pump the final price, but I see this dipping closer to the 5 digits than where it is now in the future. There also seems to be a lack of interest with this book too as a grail.

I don't know if lack of interest is the best way to put it..... it seems more an issue of abundant supply. I would guess that this was possibly the first of the SA Marvels to be heavily hoarded. People had noticed that a 10 cent FF 1 could fetch as much as 5 bucks...... and the re-emergence of Cap probably looked like a sure bet. GOD BLESS...
