Costco Stores pimps Stan Lee or maybe the other way around

Was at the dentist yesterday. He knows I am a comic "junkie" and he gave me this. Nice, well illustrated article and interview. Don't know if there are Costco warehouse stores in your area but this is worth grabbing if you go in.

I got that in the mail. The cover story is 4 pages (2 page interview). The legend grows. Now he's appearing in every nook and cranny.

So do they carry comics at Costco? Or are they planning to? Why else would they do a feature on Stan Lee? I think back in the early 90's they did and that's where my grandma got me my big comic packs that had like one issue from every title published that month for Marvel. It's how I got into some of the second tier titles like Excalibur.

Costco usually doesn't sell anything comic book related other than some generic books or kiddie clothes

I've found the trick is to avoid standing anywhere near cans

We get that Costco mag in the mail every month although we didn't get that particular one.

Maybe the Canadian one is different than the US one?

Once every year for a few weeks, our local Costco puts up a huge kiosk of signed pics of various NHL players past and present, mostly Habs players and the usual Gretzky/Lemieux/Crosby stuff.

Maybe next year they'll open a kiosk of comic-book-related stuff.

I know he wouldn't care. He is a dentist (not "THE" dentist). It was mailed to his office and you ain't gonna find any comics there.

They had a lot of Marvel stuff at mine the other day. I think I got the last large Spidey stuffed doll, but there were Marvel Mr Potato heads, lots of different items.

The Canadian one has a picture of Santa using a Tablet on the front cover.

Unless that's Stan Lee in the Santa suit, he's not on the cover.
