I just recently purchased and was concerned on grade. What do you guys think of the grade? Sorry for the lack of scan pics. Seller said there is no tape or restoration on comic. Thanks for your help!

I was hoping it would grade out at a 5.0-5.5. The seller thinks it is a 6.5. Am I missing something?

4.0 Way to much damage to go much higher. The Right edge, the long creases that break color, other damage. No way, no how is this book a 6.5

If the CGC graded this book a 6.5 there credibility would go in the crapper. IMHO. If you paid a 5.0 or 5.5 price for this book you got well had. Again IMHO.

It's got more going on than my 4.0, but I think it would still qualify as being 4.0. But in terms of being a 6.5......not even remotely close.

4.5 definitely not 6.5, the guy probably need a change of specs if he tells you thats a 6.5

I'll add my two cents... 4.0 or 4.5. Definitely not any better than that.

That is no higher than a 4.0, you're seller has wishful thinking and obviously is not a grader. I see people all the time buying and paying what the Title and description say instead of trusting their own eyes. It's not that difficult. IMHO...

CGC is usually pretty lenient on pre-Marvel chipping, which is a lot of what is wrong with this book. Still not a 6.5, but I could see it being 5.0 or slightly better.
