Always liked the TNG episode with the Satie scene, that was an intimate courtroom drama ep. with some great dialogue called "The Drumhead."

 

So anyway, why drag this out? I have one more post to go and I know just how to make the 1,000th count for something...

Hey Arnold, since you've been to a lot of WHO conventions, have you ever met Elizabeth Sladen. I always wondered how she was in person.

Twice so far, once in November 2000 when I went to London to launch the first edition of the WHO merchandise guide I co-wrote with David Howe - we were part of a WHO birthday celebration that included Lis Sladen, Tom Baker, Sophie Aldred and lots of others. And then just a month ago in LA I saw her again and we chatted a bit about the event as she remembered our first meeting and the book. She's extremely pleasant and had quite a time working alongside Katy Manning on a number of panels. I got the feeling she felt a bit upstaged and hard-pressed to keep up with Manning's preternatural energy. Now *that* woman is a real character...in a good way.
