Atomic Comics #4. 1946 by Green. There are small tape repairs, one on the inside of the front cover (about midway) and several on the back. Pages are nice. The GCD says the cover is Kamen ? but Overstreet says Baker, there is Baker art in the book, both are great artists. Technical Grade is about GD+ , but it's not common $85

Sorry, it's taking longer than I thought. I have a few, then I'll have to take another break.

 

Spotlight Comics #1. 1944 Chesler. The Black Dwarf and the veiled Avenger. Tuska art on the cover. Great color and gloss, there is a small corner missing upper right. I also see two small pieces of tape, one inside on the top of the spine and one inside on the back midway. Grade is VG.

 

OSG is $129 Good, $259 VG. Bin is $175.

Captain Tootsie #1, This one is a little later, it's 1950, but it's got a cool cover. Toby Press.

 

There are two small cover chips one at the top and one at the bottom, with a tiny tear at the top, dirt on the back, but not as much as the scan shows. It's got great gloss and color.. Book is very supple. Grade is VG/F or maybe a drop better. OSG in VG is $64, in Fine $96, bin is $75.00

Blackhawk #65, it doesn't really belong with these, but it didn't fit anywhere else. I figured it had a torture cover:) 1953. There is a 3 " cover split at the top, and the inside of the cover is tanning, pages are nice. Good guide is $29, bin is $17.and I will add decent VG- copy of #109, that I don't have scanned.Sold, thanks RobotMan

Blackhawk #65, it doesn't really belong with these, but it didn't fit anywhere else. I figured it had a torture cover:) 1953. America's Greatest Comics #7, This is a giant Size 15 cent Fawcett from 1943.B+Captain Marvel, Balbo the Magician, Mr Scarlet, Bulletman, Minuteman, etc. Pages are very supple, that piece was just torn off. There is a small piece torn on the bottom of the spine and the damage on the back of the cover.. Grade is Good. OSG is $68 bin is $50

 

and there is modern reprint on eBay selling for $20.Sold, thanks RobotMan

Shadow Comics Vol 1 #11, Street and Smith.The Origin of the Hooded Wasp and the Wasplet retold. I don't know if you have ever seen the inside of these, but they are wonderful, I'll take a picture if they don't sell and I have time. Pages are white.stories are great, there is some tanning inside the covers, but the paper is thick and they are supple. Great color, some stains. There is a small piece torn off the lower right corner. Some long creases. Grade is VG. OSG is $190.00 Bin is $175.00

Shadow Comics . Vol II #2.on the Indicia, but the GCD says it's Vol II #1. The Dead End Kids appear. Nice color and gloss a little tanning inside the covers, not much, everything is supple. Some small tears at the staples. I think there is a production crease going across, but in any case, it's a crease. The top layer of paper is missing from the lower right corner. OSG in is $174 in VG, this is a little better than VG. and these seem to go above guide, Bin is $275.00.

Shadow Comics Vol 6, #7. The paper is thinner on this cover, it's from 1946, and it's glossier. There is a corner crease lower right and some overall creasing, it's in the VG+ to maybe a little better range. OSG in VG is $82. Bin is $70.00
