Captain Tootsie #1, This one is a little later, it's 1950, but it's got a cool cover. Toby Press.

There are two small cover chips one at the top and one at the bottom, with a tiny tear at the top, dirt on the back, but not as much as the scan shows. It's got great gloss and color.. Book is very supple. Grade is VG/F or maybe a drop better. OSG in VG is $64, in Fine $96, bin is $75.00

Rex Dexter #1, Fox Publications 1940. Nice color and gloss, a store stamp and an add for Samson 1 on the back cover. Sci Fi Cover and Foxes are the latest craze;) . There is something going on in the inside of the front cover, the paper might have been damp and stuck. The bottom staple it detached from the cover. Dirt on the spine, a 1" cover split at the top and the dirt on the back with a 2nd store stamp.. Grade is Gd/VG . This is a one shot and one with the wrong back cover sold for $112 recently, this has it's own cover;). bin is $325

What classic irony: a guy named Capt, Tootsie has a green mist behind him...

I'm going to make it 4 more books, apparently my scanner and Windows 10 hate each other, so I'm going to reinstall everything tomorrow;)

Police Comics #3, The great Will Eisner did the inking on this cover. Firebrand, The 3rd Phantom Lady, 3rd Plastic Man. Human Bomb Story. These books are really wonderful and of course, since it's from 1941, not easy to find. There are 2 small pieces of tape, on the front page covering someone's name. Nice looking book, with the cover detached. Grade is Good+, (2.5) but it would restore to a much higher grade. Great color on the cover and gloss and like ever other great old book, these are going up. A 2.5 #1 sold recently for over $4500 , if the cover were not detached, this would be way better than 2.5.It might even be a 3.0 now.

Bin is ]$475 .
