cstojano
Heritage sold a bunch of signed green label books from the Frazetta estate last year some time. Prices were more than I was willing to pay but nowhere near the CGC SS equivalent. That yellow label matters.

Buck Biggins
Almost 10 years ago I got this done. Wish I could have found a Beware copy as well to get signed. Unfortunately, more than half are corrupted for some reason. That said, the dates are pretty consistent. I see the following dates on labels 11/23/08 5/10/08 7/12/08 1/11/09 5/29/09 5/30/09 @cstojano Here's what I see that correlates to new Signature Series appearing in the CGC Census for books with known Frazetta credits, near those graded dates: 5/10/08 = 35 new SS on the 5/29/2008 census 7/12/08 = 38 new SS on the 8/5/2008 census, 12 new SS on the 10/31/2008 census (which could be anytime after 8/5 before 10/31). 11/23/08 = 5 new SS on the 12/4/2008 census, 14 new SS on the 1/13/2009 census (which could be anytime after 12/4 before 1/13). 1/11/09 = 12 new SS on the 2/18/2009 census, 10 new SS on the 3/17/2009 census (which could be anytime after 2/18 before 3/17). 5 new SS copies of Creepy 1 on the 4/10/2009 census but after the 3/17/2009 census... not sure that corresponds to any known Frazetta signing date. 5/29/09-5/30/09 = 19 new SS on the 6/24/2009 census, 20 new SS on the 8/11/2009 census (which could be anytime after 6/24 before 8/11). Those totals above are 165 potential Frazetta SS books, not counting the 5 copies of Creepy 1 from the 4/10/2009 census. Those totals above are 165 potential Frazetta SS books, not counting the 5 copies of Creepy 1 from the 4/10/2009 census. REVISED ESTIMATES BASED ON MORE DATABASE/GOOGLE/CGCBOARD RESULTS: 5/10/08 = 41 SS (40 yellow, 1 restored SS): 25 of the 41 CGC serial numbers known 7/12/08 = 50 SS (49 yellow, 1 restored SS): 20 of the 50 CGC serial numbers known 11/23/08 = 21 SS (21 yellow SS): 15 of the 21 CGC serial numbers known 1/11/09 = 34 SS (31 yellow SS, 3 restored SS): 15 of the 34 CGC serial numbers known 5/30/09 = 45 SS (44 yellow SS, 1 restored SS): 29 of the 45 CGC serial numbers known 5 new SS copies of Creepy 1 on the 4/10/2009 census but after the 3/17/2009 census... these appear to be from a Jack Davis signing on January 21, 2009. REVISED ESTIMATE TOTAL: 191 Frazetta Signature Series (185 Yellow SS, 6 Restored Yellow/Purple SS): 110 of the 191 CGC serial numbers are known/located/seen in photos/registries online. It's likely that some of the SS that appeared on the CGC census at the right times were non-Frazetta SS. For example, the May 10, 2008 Frazetta signing was probably 40 books, not 41. Maybe it was 50 books... because... If a SS book was already on the CGC census and Frazetta was added later, then the CGC census would not change. For example, the January 11, 2009 Frazetta signing could have been 35 books, instead of 34, with one book adding Frazetta after already being a SS book and there would be no change in the CGC census. Tally-Ho Comics #1 CGC 9.6 would be a tough one to beat. Famous Funnies at 9.0 and higher are great also. Vampirella #1 CGC 9.4... there are lots of books better than the Epic.
