DEADPOOL Sequel Is Currently Tracking Towards A Very Impressive $150 Million+ Opening Weekend

As 20th Century Fox prepares for its CinemaCon panel this morning, initial tracking info for the studio's upcoming Deadpool sequel has arrived, and The Merc With a Mouth's second solo adventure is looking at a very strong debut when it hits theaters just under a month from now on May 18. Though these early industry estimates often fluctuate, the X-Men spin-off is currently poised to rake in at least $150M over the course of its first three days on release.

The first Deadpool movie made $132M and went on to become the highest-grossing R-rated film of all time.

He's the actor at the end of the last trailer hired by Deadpool to join the team. It's just funny that his Twitter account has been active for a few months, and most folks had no idea he was associated with Deadpool 2.
