An international newspaper thought it would be fun to post a story about Ryan Reynolds potentially divorcing over separation issues.

I noticed with the reshot DP #2 movie trailer, Deadpool announced the 2c 'X-force' team and did a spoof of 'Wakanda forever' salute. More DP hype.

A way to become popular and create interest is to parody popular stuff. We saw this kind of marketing during the 2016 presidential election on youtube and facebook. Just talking about them made some youtubers videos triple their viewing audiences and facebookers getting many likes. Black Panther is the movie of 2018 so just parodying would get Deadpool more interest.

Hype sellls. 

The Tomb Raider marketing team should have took lessons from the Deadpool marketing team as Tomb Raider might not even do 100 million domestic. They did a poor job of hyping Tomb Raider.
