Green Arrow and Speedy cover. One of only six copies we've encountered, and the first in more than nine years.

Three copies grade higher but this issue is simply not available. Heritage has auctioned only six copies in 15 years and NO CGC copies since 2005!!!!!

More Fun Comics #80 Rockford pedigree (DC, 1942) CGC VF 8.0 Cream to off-white pages.

Green Arrow does his best William Tell impression on this George Papp cover, and inside the book there's a host of other heroes, including Doctor Fate, Aquaman, Johnny Quick (with Mort Meskin art), and the Spectre (with Bernard Baily art).

From the Northern Lights Collection.

Second highest graded copy. The Church pedigree is at CGC 9.4. Heritage has only auctioned six copies.

More Fun Comics #83 (DC, 1942) CGC VF- 7.5 White pages.

George Papp gets the nod on this really cool underwater cover. Green Arrow and Speedy are joined in the issue by Aquaman, Johnny Quick, Doctor Fate, and of course the Spectre. Papp, Mort Meskin, Bernard Baily, and Henry Boltinoff art.

Three copies grade higher but they are in the wind. Heritage has never offered anything about this copy (and only four copies total), and GPA reflects NO sales of anything above either.

$700.00

More Fun Comics #87 (DC, 1943) CGC 7.5

Superhero Johnny Quick gets one of his rare spotlights on this cover by Mort Meskin, who also contributed interior art. This issue had the last Radio Squad and featured a interior cover ad for Boy Commandos #1.

Although there are actually several copies graded higher than this one (and one at CGC 9.8 :o ), there have only been five copies offered by Heritage in 15 years! While two of those sold last year (one of which was raw), other than one copy having sold in 2008 it has been 14 years since the other two sold!

$875.00
