Thanks everybody! Glad you like the pages. Yeah, I'm a big Loki fan, and Lucifer fan as well, so I feel really honored to have these pieces in my collection. Definitely the Moeller Lucifer cover has to be my fave.

Thanks for posting. I actually had some Loki Frison "covers" saved in my Ebay , but now they aren't there. They were very bare bones compared to what you have. I now wonder if those weren't legit, or what. They were listed as covers. Did you happen to see those, or know the story on them? Prelims? Fakes?

Regardless, very cool focus/collection. I like Frison's work. She reminds me a little bit of a young Linsner.

Hey, yeah, I love Frison's work as well. The covers really pop and have a very 3 dimensional feel. About those covers, yeah, I saw those. Those were legit, as I used to actually own those. I bought them off of cadence art, and they were sold as a set along with the more detailed ones I've posted here. I think Jenny does prelim sketches of her work, before doing a full detailed rendition.

Welcome aboard. You have some terrific Jim Cheung pages there. I really dig his artwork and it's always great to see that some really cool pages have found a perfect home.

 

There's a lot to like in those two JC pages...in just a handful of panels, you have a tense pursuit between Thor-axe & Loki across the historic Blue Area of the Moon, a flashback to the Asgardian throne room (bonus points for Odin and a raven), and a dramatic Mjolnir appearance. And it's all rendered so magnificently.

 

Also, nice work by Lee Garbett on those Loki DPS pages too.

 

This Thor fan is humbled by your very well-chosen pieces!

Thanks so much all you guys! I really appreciate it. Yeah, the Cheung pages really stood out to me too when I bought them. As you said, there's a lot going on in those panels. They tell a whole little story all by themselves. I'm glad you guys like the theme as well. I'm fairly new to comic art collecting. Really only started over the last year or so, and I feel like I've amassed a pretty good collection so far. It helps to keep it focused and small at first, I think.

Hey guys! So, I just picked this page up! Needless to say, it's one of the best pieces I can now call myself the proud owner of. Page # 1 from All Star Batman & Robin # 8, by Jim Lee, Inks by Scott William. A great portrait of The Joker. I've always loved this take on The Joker. He had such an understated, quiet menace to him in this series, which only made his violence all the more terrifying, juxtaposed with his calm and quiet demeanor. I always thought it was a fascinating contrast with Batman, who acted so over the top, who acted like someone pretending to be insane, while The Joker very much genuinely was insane.

Jenny renders her artwork in pencils, that's what's considered her Original Art, it's simple yet pure.

 

Then she has a printout of the original pencils and adds original white pencils over bluelines, which is sort of like the "inked" (tones) version, less original, more detailed,and to collectors of OA, less desirable of the 2.

 

She used to sell her artwork as either/or, meaning you can buy one or the other.

 

Then, I think she found that splitting the artwork from the paired set wasn't the way to go, so now offers them as a complete set when selling her OA.

Picked up some new pages and covers from the amazing Lee Garbett again! This time for his run on "Lucifer". Thought I'd share them with you guys here, plus two new commissions of Loki!

 

These were done as companion pieces to one another, Loki in his Agent of Asgard incarnation, and Loki in his god of Stories incarnation. They’re meant to show the juxtaposition and contrast of Loki before he learns to accept himself and the struggle he has there, and afterwards, when he’s let go of it mattering what others think of him, and the freedom and happiness that brings him.
