I've always loved this cover. However, I JUST noticed the skeleton's foot breaking out of the crystal ball! That is just so cool. Everett rocks.

Not only are the skeletons breaking out of the crystal ball but I love all the detail Everett put into this cover. From the details in the gypsie's face right down to the designs on her headdress. The original art must look amazing!

I like how she gets closer and closer as they kept having to cut and crop her down in size after every subsequent use!

Purple does tend to a make a great image "pop" a little more.

By issue 13 they lost the double reflection under the breasts. Wood was a master of double reflections.

It's actually Sid Check, a Stat of the original art was kept by Sid Check showing his signature.

I've heard ppl say it was Check. Overstreet still says Wood.
