Just noticed after looking at the CG again that although they stayed pretty true to it, they omitted the "Don't Miss" text (or it fell off before presstime)

I do think however they should have kept the title black instead of red for this issue IMHO.

They chose an orange-red rather than true red as indicated in the CG but I like you suggestion of black. Orange and black are always a good color combo for a horror book.

The choice of red does make the logo harder to see against the background. But on the other hand, it kinda works given the name of the book. (shrug)

You're welcome, Jayman.

One of these days I'll find a high grade copy to match one of the 2 color guides I own.

Too cool!!! You just normally don't see CGs for PCH. What other CG do you own?? (shrug)

Don't you find it odd that the Priest is human, when everyone else but the groom is a skeleton? (shrug) Now, the groom is quite understandable given the subject matter, (although some would say for a more true approach the groom really should be the only skeleton portrayed at a wedding ceremony. ) but why the Priest? I wonder if the Holy Man was also originally drawn as a corpse, but an editorial change was made as to not be found too offensive given the era. hm

Anyway, this is the stuff that keeps me awake at night...

Well the priest is wearing glasses! Maybe they're the thick coke-bottle kind and he can bearly see. lol

Always liked these too...

I love that JIM!

It is great to know that those in the afterlife take the sanctity of marriage so seriously. Why should the living be the only ones made to suffer being married! lol

Can't you just imagine a skeleton wife asking her skeleton husband "Does this shroud make my asss look too bony?" :insane:

I have seen the film of which you speak. If I recall, a woman is dead, but you are hearing her thoughts on how she died. She is in the morgue if I remember correctly.

Thanks Keith.
