Anyone know what the interest in this will be?

Any chance this will cool down the variant cover obsession?

 

On a related note, how did the DC version end up turning out?

I don't remember reading much about it after the initial announcement.

checking ebay there is exactly one CGCed variant for sale (an ECC version)

so I guess the flippers didnt think much of it.

 

meanwhile there are 180+ listings of raw copies for $3 each, and there are bundles of all 53 versions for a little as $60....

 

so no.. it did not set the world on fire....

I looked at the covers and the website and the art is ng terrible across the board. They look like they belong as an insert in your Sunday paper.

That's the intention I assume. But it just looks like a terrible knock-off
