That was random! I think that we would have heard if he had died, but he has not been active on the boards. I believe that he was having some health issues that interfered with his participating. So if by "around" you mean alive, then yes, I think so, but if you mean active on the boards, then no. And yes, his collection is staggering. He built a nice collection back when key books could be had for quite a bit less than what they go for now. It would be virtually impossible to build a collection like that today without very, very deep pockets.
