Making a shift to action/adventure covers was definitely a good move for them.  Most of their "humor" covers weren't actually very, ah, humorous.

Strange how they just used an entire page from a story inside for the cover, panels and everything. It was reprinted in Amazing Mystery Funnies vol2 no1.

huh?

well, FPS as a title did "technically" end with the previous 3/3 issue, but centaur actually continued the series numbering , with book re-titled (though they did sub title the book funny Picture Stories on the cover). Cool, right.

Interesting.  They even kept the word balloon for the machine gunner changing the wording so he's announcing the book's contents.  Makes me think somebody missed a deadline.
