Just received a package from CC last auction. All of these from the Kentucky Collection, in a bit of irony I live in Kentucky so these books Started in KY went to NY and now reside in KY once again. Highlights for me are the Jungle 31 (tough tough book) and my first Eldon. Been chasing one for years. Side note, a great thread out there is ‘where are Eldon’s books’.

I have to keep saying it. Fiction House covers with no ink fade are simply the best.

According to Fiction House, From Pulps to Panels From Jungles to Space (by Mitch Maglio) it was "Ruth MacCauley who did most of the lettering".

Thank you. Ruth was excellent. Her calligraphy adds a lot of style to the covers.

Great additions Mike. Apologiesfor the silly question but what's the story on these Kentucky books.

This was a large high grade collection from Metropolis's last auction and there was a lot of very nice white page Fiction House books, along with a lot of other great stuff.

Let me share with you fine fiction house aficionados this wonderful story. So in 2016 right when I completed my fight run of 1-25 I did the unthinkableand decided to sell the  booksin order to fund mynew collecting focus.  While most of the books where selling fast I didn't offer one of the books as it was the heart beat of the run. It's the book that started passion for fights which led me to discovering what this little know publisher brought to the table. So me knowing what this book meant to me and needeing the money I sold this book to @Tsp99 for what I had in it. All I asked him before the deal was for the opportunity to get back. Fast forward to today Tyler kept his word and sent me my book back no questions asked. People like Tyler is why this hobby fills my heart with happiness. The friendships we've gain becauseof these funny books is truly remarkable. Thank you again Tyler
