Excellent question! Not sure why CGC has it unattributed. On comics.org, there seems to be good support for Nick Cardy being the cover artist. I’m tempted to inform CGC about this…

The main figures, both from image, art style and inking, look quintessentially Zolnerowich.  I've not seen anything like them done by Cardy, though some of the background easily could be.  This attribution was supposedly confirmed with Cardy but, sixty years after the fact, his recollection might be a little suspect.

Agreed. The girl especially screams Zolnerowich to me.

I started in on collecting the series some time ago and got sidetracked.  I have four issues and was fortunate to pick up a #2 back then.  It is a great cover.

I started in on collecting the series some time ago and got sidetracked.

This is dated Spring 1952 so I have a copy. It's one of the earliest books from March 1952 I purchased. Those are the only books for which I've kept detailed records.

I bought this copy for my birthday in June 2002 as a VG from Southern Cal Comics for $70.20 or about guide at the time. Grade can be argued but happy to still have it -

Yep, I feel this. I sold a stack this nice circa early 2000s. Fiction House were often my go-to when raising funds for something else.

Many copies of the Ghost series have been on HA the last few weeks.I picked up many back in the 90's on the cheap nice to see them having their day
