The post was removed. I said in it that I was looking to move bulk readers. Gave a price for a box of BA readers, one for CA and one for modern. Mentioned at least twice that these were reader books, not investment grade and that there would be no books of value in any of the boxes. Gave the cover prices that would be included, said they were readers. Most of them were much higher grade than readers but I didn't want to give anyone the impression there might be anything of value.

Did you list what books were offered? Include pictures?

Rule #6 says bulk sales are permitted.

 

Here's what Rule 6 says.

 

6. It must list specific books with purchase prices. It is acceptable to bulk price, and/or to note that package discounts may be available, but you must list a starting price that you WILL sell for.

 

Did you list out the titles that people would be receiving or did you say something along the lines of "buyers will recieve X# of random copper books"

 

If you didn't list the titles and issue numbers being offered then I can understand why someone humped the button

I'd just take a few group pictures of the books and post them up in the sales thread. You can lay out 10/15 books on the table which should reduce the picture taking process down to a few minutes. It may not technically meet the rule since you are not listing issue numbers but if people can see what they are getting then it can't be perceived as a mystery box.

Agree with the advice to take a few group pics and maybe list some of the better titles in the description (CA Bulk lot - includes books from titles: JLA, Peter Parker, ASM, Action, West Coast Avengers whatever...)

I didn't hump it but when I read the sales thread I did think it was in violation of the rule above that says you have to list what you are selling. I was interested to see if you would be allowed to continue; I guess not.

He does that from time to time. I remember seeing what felt like hundreds of from him once before. After his comments in the Archie thread, I will take repeated emoticons over those any day of the week!
