Rudolph  The Red  Nosed  Reindeer   1952  edition

Rough  reader.   That  piece  out  of the center  upper  FC  is  actually  still there,  just  folded under.   But  the  two left hand  corners  on the FC  are long  gone.  Spine mostly  split,   still  barely  hanging  on to the upper  staple.  Large  tear   RH edge  BC.   Well,  the interior  is still nice....sigh...

FREE  with  the next  purchase,   just  claim  it!

Jungle  Jo  NN,   1950

O'street  believes  this  was  originally  intended  as   issue 30 of  Jo-Jo,   which  is  supported  by  some  of  the blanked  out  spaces  in  the headers,   and  the fact  that   Our  Hero  is  called  Jo-Jo  in   a couple  panels.

Tear  RH  edge  FC,   with  matching  tears  on  the first  few  leaves.   Tear  lower LH  FC,  runs up spine  a half  inch  and  right  into  the cover  about  the same.  Plenty of  wear,   especially along   the spine  BC,   rubbing  FC.

This  is  a rerun  from  a  previous  thread,   asking $25

Captain  Atom 89

Last  issue  in the classic  Charlton  series.   Cap  by Ditko,   Nightshade  back  up  story  by  Jim  Aparo.

Very  nice  copy  with  a  couple  minor  issues.   Flat  and  glossy,   square,  tight  spine  and CF,   white pages,  but  both  staples  are a bit rusty  with  a  whiff  of  migration,  and  there  are  a couple  vertical  discolorations  along  the  spine  BC,  they  appear  to  be  transfers  from  staples  off  another  book.  I  see no evidence  of  any  wet  or  damp  marks on the comic,  so  I'm  guessing   a   couple  of  hot  sweltering  summer  days  were  enough  to  do  the job.

Mighty  nice  copy  for  $15
