This cover is horrible, and anyone who says otherwise is a liar!

There is a comic called Orc Stain as well, which I’d never heard of, so you were on the right track.

I don't know anything about Orc Island, but Orc Stain rules! Stokoe has that ugly underground, super detailed thing down, ala Kevin O'Neill. Maybe not everyone's cup of tea, but I dig it. Not sure about this book, but the death metal font gives me a tangential excuse to use one of my favorite pics..

Yup. Crystal clear font.

I find it’s much better than sans serif.

Locally designed cover to a Danish Superman & Batman book from 1972.

Actually has a strong resemblance to the George Reeves' Superman from the tv show

Seen worse from him.

Just a bit boring and repetitive in general.

Probably one of his better covers.

Really? Wouldn't like to see his worst, so glad I don't buy new books if this is a typical example. :preach:

I have an important question. This thread has run 35 pages, since 2018. But unless I missed it somehow, no one has ever posted Conan #9 (from the 1995 Marvel series). Why ... How can that even be??

A cover so bad that looking at it induces PTSD. Who would want to.

In my case I didn’t even know about it. Now I do. Seeking therapy.
