Victory Comics 0

I have been trying to finish a GA run for a while and when searching War Covers etc I though oh wow, Victory Comics is only 4 copies that can be done. I picked up the first issue fairly quickly and either was working or not paying attention when others sold on here. I know a few traded hands here in the past 4-5 years. 

I have an alert on Ebay for the title and weekly get the notification the photo copies are available, I had not seen any issue available for ever and with my luck on the boards I figured it would be pure luck to find.

Last week the alerts went off and @Nikelspot  had issues 2 and 4 listed. They both showed up today as advertised. 4 was a little more costly and while I would like higher grade just haven't seen enough to be picky and these look great in Mylar. 

I just sent issue 1 off to CGC in December so no group shot but here is my partial run.

I do like the covers though, Issue 1 he is taking off the gas mask and in issue two even though the Nazi's have their hands up they are getting blasted anyway. The Conqueror was pretty ruthless.

I would like to see others copies if you don't mind sharing so please share!

Ps if anyone wants to part ways with issue 3 please let me know.

My only copy I mentioned in your WTB thread.  I have thought about going after the other 3 but other wants get in the way.  #1 does seem most available.  But here is my #4 - bought raw and probably should have had the tear seals opened by Matt (not sure how much it would impact the grade).

No kidding, I remember seeing it in the sales forum, jaw dropping. I recall Bedrock having a super sharp Issue 2 for sale, Comcav scooped it up immediately!

I remember Billy Parker saying he eventually gave up on completing this set because they are so hard to find. Hopefully you'll achieve your goal.

@Straw-Man I was wondering if that set was the set BP sold here a few ago - can't remember what his books graded.  Adam is a great seller.  

Did you win any of them?

I got #3. I was under bidder on #1 and 4th or 5th on #2 but did not swing hard at them.

I don't think too many could even say they have one let alone all four issues.  I only have the #4 myself.

Congrats I was right under you with the 874 feedback. I felt that price was really good for it but wanted to double down on the 3rd issue so held off running you up any more on it.
