Never thought about that, Hector. When I see a book arrive in a bag with an old sticker, I'm usually thinking "Damn dude was too cheap/lazy to re-bag this funnybook!" Then I think he or she figures I'm just going to re-bag it anyway and I get over it. That's all I've got on old price stickers.

And then when you go to re-sell it you forget to re-bag it and the sticker remains.  Thus the sticker fulfills its destiny and completes the circle of life.

Yes, I feel one way or the other...doesn't matter to me at the time that I know its probably an old sticker.  If its less I want it for that price, if its more than I feel I got the steal of the century.  Its the little things that keep us going!

I get that price tag off my CGC case, or I replace the bag. I Don’t think about it, if I purchased the item it was what I was willing to pay for it. Comic Link stickers on the other hand... not just trying to remove all the sticky, but then you look up the book too.

When you buy a collection from a collector, it differentiates OO books and second hand purchases. I find it interesting to see what they bought off the rack and what they paid up for at a later time. 

If it’s a one off book purchase, I don’t really pay it much attention. The possibilities are endless on what and when that sticker means.  

I re-bag everything anyway.

Do "pedigree collections" really add value to books for the majority of collectors?  Or do most collectors not even know/care what these collections are?
