Popular Post Sqeggs
I told you it was lame, so why did you click? Been super busy lately, but managed to squeeze in a little time at NYCC. Made it solo for a couple of hours on Th and with Mrs. Sqeggs and one of the mini-Sqeggs on Sunday afternoon. Always great to touch base, if only briefly, with @BitterOldMan, @comicjack, and @Zolnerowich. Just barely missed seeing @GoldenPRGuy and the two great books he picked up. Attendance seemed a bit lighter than normal on Thursday afternoon and I believe they failed to sellout for the first time in a while. Usual mob scene on Sunday afternoon. I spent most of time on Th waiting in the glacially slow moving CGC drop-off line. For the first time, they required anyone without a filled out form to enter the info via their iPads; no more paper forms allowed. Since I was doing the half-priced CBCS regrading option, I wasn't sure how to fill out the forms, so I had to key everything in. Luckily @BitterOldMan helped me decipher their software, or the people in line behind me may have organized a little necktie party for me. A few pics follow -- but I'm sure multiple people have probably done a better job of covering this by now. szucchini, Mystafo, Larryw7 and 2 others
Popular Post Sqeggs
Don't get your hopes up with these first pics. The Metro setup was about the only one I took pics of. Those Church Planets are really something. I imagine the prices will soar beyond all planets known and unknown. Sqeggs
I've never really collected statues -- just picked up a stray one here or there. But there seemed to be a lot of cool pieces on display. Here are some. Dan82, 1950's war comics and gino2paulus2
Sqeggs
Seemed to be way more Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh, and Dragon Ball Z type stuff than in previous years. Are they making a comeback (or maybe they never went away)? 1950's war comics, gino2paulus2 and ComicConnoisseur
Sqeggs
Alex Ross had his usual display. Never bought any of his prints (much less his OA), but they are pretty impressive. Particularly like the series based on the 1940s Universal monsters. Point Five
Sqeggs, I was at Harley's booth Thursday afternoon and he was showing the Cow Puncher, the Sensation and the pair of Coles. I'm guessing you were right there looking at them... wish I'd known who you were, would have said hi. Killer pickups!
