Nicely done, I always waited for that GL #83 to get more steam. I had a copy yet it seemed underwhelming at first.

That is some serious ink... :whee:

I think Cry for Dawn, once upon a time, was the 1st statue my brother ever bought for himself hm the one where she goes after some kind of crown.

It's a series that doesn't get talked about all that often :shy:

Thanks!! I still love CFD I pick up that stuff when I can. GL #83 is just overlooked IMO. It's a Neal Adams cover that should be enough for people to want it.

Saturday was an interesting day.  I’ll start with the low hanging fruit and go up from there.

Wow, if I managed to get those books over the course of a year, i'd say it was a successful year... but in one day???

A good friend of mine wanted a book I had.  A book that I could’ve sold pretty easily for quite a chunk of cash.  But, instead, I decided to do trade for him instead of cash since cash is a bit tight for books, for him at the moment.

This week the last three months in your collection?

I haven't done this in a while.

A thank you to @gregreece for this one:

...and for this one:

From a local yokel comic shop sitting in a dumpy back issue bin. Huh? I've been looking for a high-gradish copy for a while:

These ones were bought from the amazing Doug Sulipa to help close out some runs:

I've tracked my entire collection in a spreadsheet over the last 20 years. But only in the last 4 years or so I've kept a table on my phone that lists issues I need. It's a game-changer for me when I'm in places digging through boxes.

My post may have seemed over the top, but believe me, I've tried lists, that still ain't easy lol

So kudos sincerely to DEDICATION, I appreciate the fact that you said last 3 months, as long as those are the ones needed and found it's very cool (thumbsu

While I have control over my collection in a spreadsheet, physical control is another story.

I was able to pull books together during pandemic time off last year. And man I had tons of duplicates...

An underrated book I’d say

Man, everyone is having a great day! I agree with this one, I too did the same. After I was bought a #194 as a gift, instead of upgrading it, I went all out on #195 for 9.8.

Hope I'm not intrusive being chatty lol

I have no excused other than it's great to see like minded individuals!

All good, nothing wrong with being chatty. Glad we think alike and see the potential of this book.
