It's that time again.  

The official REVEAL THREAD for HollyJollyOne's 2018 CGC Chat Boards Holiday Gift Exchange.

When your respective holiday arrives and you open your gifts here's the place to post those photos.

SHOW ME WHAT YOU GOT!!!

I celebrate Chanukah so when my gift arrived today ALL THE WAY FROM BELGIUM I was super excited to open it up. First off, a very big thank you goes out to Andy @999ghosts for the very thoughtful gifts. I mentioned my interest in all things Golden Age with a particular emphasis on Fawcett and Captain Marvel. I especially like the oddball items.

First up are the nicely wrapped packages and card.

 

Now let's get those gifts open!

Here's a very cool Captain Marvel Jr. ski figure that can be folded and put together.  (Do I dare punch it out and put it together?  )

Next up is a hardcover documenting some of the more regrettable sidekicks in comic history.  This will be a fun read. 

And last but not least is a golden age book I was not familiar with. Check out that first page!!!

Those are very cool! I think I received mine, but I left it for Christmas. If it isn't.. well I have purchased something and didn't open it for 3 weeks

I also celebrate Hanukkah, but I wanted to wait until other boardies started opening theirs. Well, it's close enough now that I figured I would split the difference, cut the baby in half, pour it out with the bathwater, etc. etc.

Mine didn't come with Yankees wrapping (good thing, since I live in Queens, and it may not have survived being on my doorstep...), but it did come in some fun dog-themed wrapping!

I didn't get a picture of it, but it definitely had my cat interested...

Inside was a great bundle of X-Men goodness, which always tops my list!

That is some good reading  I loved the Claremont & John Romita Jr. run. Lots of great stories that also took the time to build up/flesh out these characters

I had the gifts in my hand to open and then figured that I have waited this long so I can wait one more day! I know the mother-in-law will be getting me a Frazetta shirt but this should be my favorite gift that I get this year. I have two solid guesses as to what the slab is and even if it is not one of those two I expect it to be awesome.

Well... well... well over at my folks place they decided to open the gifts we had at the ready, so as not have to cart them to the extended family tomorrow!  my parents got me a beard trimmer and a t.v. wall mount big enough for my 55 inch...

@Wolverinex my secret Santa, a complete  in my book, I was a little too specific in my wish list, but kev made it happen... even with a special surprise that I knew nothing about, return of wolverine error star wars recalled version... I'm in awe, thank you so much!!! The return of wolverine is going in my modern sub next week! He also got me Larsen Sig and Adam Hughes Sig

Also a killer wolverine cover to go with my wolverine run from when I was a kid, you rock wolverinex!!

So my xmas schedule just got real hectic and will be a full day tomorrow.. So with that in mind, I decided to open my secret santa gift now as opposed to waiting till day after. @Bird was my secret Santa. He sent me 2 packages. The second package was recieved roughly a week after first. So I would like to thank Sean for his gifts. Got some reading to do at a later date. 1st package was an x-men 186 cgc 9.8..... Very cool.   2nd box was heavy,  inside was a bunch of spidey themed books along with an autographed book and some awesome dave stevens covers. Thank you again Sean. Merry Christmas too you.
