All yours. I saw 16 and jumped on it.

OK, so the book goes to Adam? And that is OK with everyone?

Sorry about that, I lost part of my word document somehow, the rest will be smoother...and these pictures jump around sometimes.

Plastic Man #39, 1953 Quality Comics

I would not normally associate Plas with PCH, but this is probably as close as you can get;)

Nice color, nice pages, some creasing and crayon/date-stamp on the front and a stain on the top of the back cover. Small piece of tape inside at the bottom of the spine, might be archival. Grade is VG- (3.5) or maybe a little better, Bin is $75   SOLD to AnkurJ

Plastic Man #43, even tougher to find, Quality 1953 and they are still jumping on the PCH bandwagon with a Vampire cover and story;)

Nice color and pages some chipping at the top edge, with a 1” tear at the top edge and a cover spine split at the bottom, a little less than 1”. Paper on the cover is slightly tanning at the top, but the inside pages are light and supple. Grade is Good+, Bin is $50.00  Sold to Gunsmokin

Popular Comics #52, Dell Comics 1940.There are 7 on the census.

I was never terribly interested in Dell comics until I read an issue from this time period...and much to my surprise, there were Superheroes! And an Invisible Detective called “The Voice” and more!

This issue is the first time the character is called “The Voice” and has some background on how he got his powers. There is some GGA in the Captain Tornado story, plus Martan the Marvel Man, etc:)

Some color loss at the top of the page, pages are supple and there is some NCB creasing you might not see in the scan, two chips off the right edge that I just caused putting the book back in the bag. Grade is VG- (3.5) Bin is $195.00  $175.00

Popular Comics #59 Dell, 1941. The Marvel Man (no longer has Marten in the title), the Voice and another series, Dr. Hormone....did you like Antman? Well this Dr has harnessed the power of the FLEA! I wonder if “someone” got an idea from this series;) ?

Nice color, decent pages, some have bent corners and there is a tear on one page in the margin. There are two long creases on the cover and 2 of the 3 staples are detached. There is a small piece of tape under the top staple, so it may have been removed. Grade is Gd/VG Bin is $175.00  $150.00843678370_popular59front.thumb.jpeg.2c980e5e9ca52c9be978c517ab6dad9a.jpeg976078727_popular59inside(2).thumb.jpg.1ca6997c89ea59d900bc54985090c730.jpg

Popular #66, Dell 1941. 6 on the Census.

Supermind and Son, two of my favorites from these issues. Supermind has invented a Telivisoscope, a machine that lets you view anything pretty much anywhere (as far as I can tell) and this was in 1941, way before we had drones or anything similar. His son has super powers that last a brief time...and The Voice now can stay invisible for 24 hours:)

Nice color and pages, there is a small tear at the top of the spine and a small piece of tape at the bottom inside the spine. There are small tears at the top staple.

Grade is VG+ (4.5) or a little better  and Bin is $175.00  $168.00 sold to Casablanca
