It sure is gorgeous.

 

However, any GA book that is that clean and the corners are that sharp, I gotta consider possible restoration.

 

Plus, it's a seller with 2 feedbacks.

 

That's a real roll of the dice.

Did you notice this seller with only two feedback is also selling a high grade Ghost Rider collection 1-30 describing #27 as NM while he just purchased the Ghost Rider 27 on Ebay with the seller' advertising the grade as fine+

 

So that Supeman comic might not be the one to get.

I started with a mid grade #26. I really liked that cover.

The 14 is my favorite cover. The census indicates that only 29 unrestored copies have been graded and I've had three of them over the last few years. However, None were graded higher than vgf.

yowtch, Jeff! that book is a killer 4.5!

 

It popped up on eBay a few years ago with a BIN of $850. I figured if I didn't nab it quick, it'd be gone in minutes. On the other hand, I don't really know why I bought it, as I already had this flawless copy in my collection...
