Labeling raw comics. Best method?
1 1

Thinking about organizing my collection and putting little labels/stickers on why they are keys, when I bought them, etc.  So far, I've used post it notes, but it seems like a waste cutting off the non sticky portion...  I guess I could just write on a piece of paper and drop it in the the back of the bag.

Has anyone else done this and what do you use?

I remember having one of those when I was a kid as well.  It was kinda cool.

I write on the back of the backing board. My grade. Any key note. Price i paid and month/year purchased.  Just make sure you get a pen that doesnt smear. I hope this is what you were asking for.

Yes, I could do that... just figured I could reuse the bag and board if something happened but that's a good idea.

You could just submit them to CGC and let them label for you :flamed:

What i most often see people writing in pencil on back of the board. If you don’t have multiple copies you could also just do it in an app

Although it took a while to find the apostrophes setting! (I'm good at them )

And here's a good way to label your comics - double Mylite2 with a custom sticker on the inner Mylite. A little expensive, but works a treat :)

One of the other things I used to do was make sticky labels for my comics. Any excuse really. The label wasn't on the comic of course, but on the inner mylar (I used to use two).

I had stickers for printing errors....

Yes, they look great.  I love the custom stickers; what program did you use?

Nothing fancy - just word, printed onto A4 sticky labels. I'm a bit of a luddite but the end result looks ok
