it is no secret that of all the early tecs I have owned, that copy was my favorite...

happy it has found a home where it will be enjoyed as much as I did (twice!)

you are correct...t3quila heard "no" about 10 x before he finally got me to say yes.... very tough book to part with!

not axis covers in BM, that I recall... there are a few War themed, but that is it as far as Hitler, etc

 

I find it interesting that other DC titles, such as Action and Superman had many great WW2 themed covers, while Batman and Detective Comics did not have many at all.

truthfully, I bet they found themselves unable to "compete" with the schomburgs at the time...either that, or they wanted to do funny books "their" way (shrug)

Big thanks to Batman Fan for a book I never thought I'd get my hand son.... it's a 5.0 c/ow... but I want to know who has the 7.5? hm

I don't know who owns the 7.5 copy but I have the 5.5
