CW
That picture will haunt me forever. I don't photograph well. I have been really pleased and surprised by how many people have been encouraged in their Tec collecting by this thread and I am glad there is as much interest in the books as we have seen here for over a year now. Norinn we have to get you a 31! As a side question you may answer if you like or return to normal discussion, how many Tecs have you gotten since reading this thread for the first time.? (I want to hear the damage we've caused).

Can I ask what the grade is on that? I'm happy with my purple labeled Tec. I think what matters is how it presents itself and I'm also picky about page quality and extent of restoration. Who is Harold Curtis? I assume he must have been the original owner of these books. How extensive was his collection in terms of quantity, quality, breath, etc? Just curious, that's all. ft88
I bought the Tec 37 cause of this thread. I didn't think my bid would even be close to winning. Was it the picture of my beater that did it? Yes and no. I thought the best short run to ever collection would be the pre Robin Tecs, like the ones you have. The 37 shows up on ebay, clearly unrestored and sort of a beater. I post a bid thinking I'll never win and the book is going to hit just shy of $1000 and I wind up winning. Ebay works out sometime. Ed
