Not showcasing the same kind of hotness as the Young Men, Lorna showed up unexpectedly on my door-step this morning. She's welcome any time :) -

usually not on top of my want list but got this very cheap and it has a great cover

If that's the theme, I'll join in with these two Atlas war books (also posted in the SA war thread).

Battle Ground 13 1956, classic Heath cover.

Battlefront 47 1957, possible Kida cover according to the Atlas Tales site. I'm not complaining about the condition for under $2.

Sweet pickup for under $2! I could go with Kida, although I thought he usually signed his covers. And that Battleground 13 is SWEET. Someday I'll get me one of those.

I had to sacrifice for mine -- about the cost of a 12" Subway sandwich (at the current sale price). It was tough.

I recently re-scanned this one and it turned out so well I had to show it off.

What a wonderful cover. Seriously. Thanks for posting it! (worship)

MORE! The crowd clamors for MORE!

Three more from the same batch.

Amazing Mysteries 35 1949/50

Atlas by most people's reckoning, right? It's got that little Marvel Comics circle though. Is either of these guys a Marvel staffer?

These two are on the Atlas/ pre-Marvel bubble.

Amazing Adult Fantasy 9 1961/62
