Have you thought about having it restored professionally?

It's crossed my mind to have it restored, but since no color touch was identified, I'll leave it alone. Too much yellow and red would be needed to mask the fountain pen ink damage. The original owner must have loved the copy so I think I'll keep it as such.

No. The Action run came from the original owner. I bought them all at once, along with a large number of other 1930s golden age in 1996

I think the 1 thru 10 run looks just as nice...as the 1 thru 13 run!!!!

You gotta miss owning those....seriously if you are going to own a #1 thru #10 run...this is as good as it can EVER get (and I am not by choice a DC collector, I prefer Marvel (Timely) and Centaurs)...but early DC books round out the top three for me!!!

The fact is Centaurs, early DC's, and early Timely's all have a lot in common with each other.

 

I do like them almost equally, i guess it depends on what titles and issue numbers we are talking about.
