Arrived today from CGC. Purchased a while ago. I really thought it would grade out as a 3.0/3.5 and I'm happy with the PQ as well. Heck, it's from 1939.

In going through my collection it appears this is the first

SUPERMAN comic I bought...and it was also about the

same time my Mother was able to get a new refrigerator

after the War...getting rid of our Ice Box.

Supermans from that era are very tough to find. In fact. all 10-cent Supermans are hard to come by. And it's nice that you can read that copy since those stories have not been reprinted very often.

Fantastic...beautiful book.

Just think, I could have bought that off the newsstand...but I was too

busy graduating High School in June of '52.
