This was due to the sudden cancellation of the series. The comic also features a few Jim Lee swipes from his work on X-Men. I believe this comic to be in Very Fine condition, or better. I believe this comic to be in Near Mint minus condition, or better. There is imperceptible blunting of the spine corners, as well as a couple spine stress creases/ticks that barely break the ink (at worst). As you may have noticed with a few of the above listings, there are corner bends. This isn't something that happened recently because the backing boards for each book are not bent. I believe over the last couple decades, as boxes we moved from one place to another...or one storage location to another, these comics may have shifted during transit. It is possible that I bought them like this as back issues from my LCS. Who knows. I honestly don't recall. These next issues, #5 to #12, have similar corner bends that may or may not lightly break the ink, mostly the bottom corners. A couple issues have more than one corner bend, some copies have one very minor bend. I'm only posting a front cover picture of each issue. Every copy is available for $2 (each) because if anyone has the desire to press them...it will be a benefit. The rest of the defects range from a few very light ink-breaking spine ticks to very light ink rubs on the back cover near the staples (or both). Otherwise, they are pretty clean comics. I do have more pics of each issue upon request. My very conservative grade estimate for each book is Fine/Very Fine, or better. Thanks all!!
