Regretfully, I don't have a lot of old sci-fi digests, but I do have a few with Schomburg covers.  Here are two:

This one is an interstellar take on Noah's Ark.

Look at that, they actually did this right and rendered a lion and a lionesses! In 99% of the theological depictions the Noah story has two male lions walking to the ark. :D

Always one of my favorite Schomburg Timely covers.  Nice colors and cover image.  Thanks for sharing so many amazing Schomburg covers!!!

Thanks! It's one of my favorites as well & one of a half dozen or so Marvel Mystery issues that I've kept. This is near to where the run is about to drop off substantially as far as interior artwork goes. Without checking, I think Everett's last Subby story is #31, until around issue 80 (or so) when he comes back. Gustavson leaves the Angel stories right around then & Burgos leaves the Torch after issue #34 I believe. At least Schomburg stays and does covers until around issue #76 I think, then he's gone from Timely all together. This is still solidly in the sweet spot.  (thumbsu

February and March seem to go together.  It’s like the same gal keeps getting into trouble with hooded klansmen.  Whatever she did to get’um riled up must’ve been pretty bad (...too much starch in their laundry?) as it necessitated intervention by The HT twice!

These are book ends like the Human Torch 12 and 13 are!!! I don't own either of those any more, but for someone who DOES, they're a matched set!!! (thumbsu

Sweet book, ...deserving of signature verification and a grade bump, IMO.

Thanks Cat. I thought it deserved some fresh air so I cracked it out.

I've told this before, but this is the book that started my GA obsession.  I saw it in an Alex Schomburg book of art long before I got back into comics.  After doing the BA/SA bit with the Avengers and Marvel, I found the art book in my library and I was hooked.  It wasn't a year before I had sold all my Marvels and put the money (plus some more) back into GA books.  This copy came up on CLink and I was not to be denied.  It was one book I frequently took out to cherish..
