We've had a lot of singing Cicadas this year and I saw my first one...same day I found this giant green larvae that turns out is called a tomato bug?

The green tomato larvae is a popular food with reptiles... supposedly very nutritious. If left alone, they create a cocoon and turn into a very large moth, a little larger than a deck of cards. GOD BLESS....

We found this one near some old rail track and let it live its life.Freaked us out -should have seen the dog haha lol !

I guess the lacer babe are grown mostly now?(sorry if I misspelled )

They both had metabolic bone disease and surprisingly lived almost 7 years. They never achieved the full size of a healthy specimen. The female actually laid eggs a few times, but they were small and infertile. GOD BLESS...
